Just testing my new 4GB memory chip, Gorillapod, and wireless remote. Bad news on the memory chip: thought the D80 is compatible with HCSD, the Dell laptop isn't. So I have to use the cable for picture transfers until I get an adapter.
Bad news on the Gorillapod: the D80 with kit lens is just (58g) overweight according to specs, so it can get a bit "droopy" in a normal tripod stance. But it works like magic for attaching to odd places like banisters. UPDATE: drooping cured by turning locking ring. The small print "Important: Before using this product, please read the instructions printed on the inside of this card." actually means there is some useful stuff written on the inside.
