Every once in too long a while something comes along to redeem all the rubbish that clogs up the web. Here are a few videos I have found more than entertaining:
- Capucha's Once upon a time.... (Don't watch it if you are allergic to magic.)
- The collection of lectures at the Perimeter Institute, for example Before the Big Bang: Is There Evidence For Something And If So, What? (A prequel to "once upon a time" in a manner of speaking; actually a great prelude to one of the chapters in Penrose's book I am struggling through--with pleasure.)
- The stuff on the TED website, such as Sir Ken Robinson's Do schools kill creativity?
- And lastly, the most profound of them all, Randy Pausch's Last Lecture. (This one alone could redeem having to wade through so much rubbish--in life in general, not just on the web).
